Sharing published books

Our fourth grade buddies came down to our classroom today and as practices reading our first published books to them! Thanks for letting us share!

Dr. Seuss buddy project!

Here are our final products proudly displayed in the hall for all to see! 

Class pet

Today Ms. P from the Burlington Science Center came in to talk to us about our new class pet, Maisey the corn snake! We learned about where corn snakes live in the wild and what she eats. We got to touch her and watch her eat a mouse! It was a very cool experience. 

Dr. Seuss Day!

We had a great day celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday! 

Mrs. McDonald came and read to us two Dr. Seuss stories! 

We made Dr. Seuss hats and then Mr. Marsh came and read us two stories! 

We finished our day by reading The Lorax and doing a project with our fourth grade buddies! For our projects we brainstormed and wrote how we would help the Lorax save the Earth! I will post the finished product as soon as it's done! 

We had a great day! I hope the students enjoyed reading different Dr. Seuss stories as much as I did!
